The Oversea Chinese Association of Vision and Eye Research (OCAVER) is an international professional organization. Members are individuals of Chinese descendents residing outside of China, with particular competence or interest in the field of ophthalmic investigation and vision research.
OCAVER's mission is to establish a network and platform among overseas Chinese vision and eye researchers (clinical and basic research), to share research information and expertise, and to promote communication and collaboration between vision and ophthalmic researchers in China and in the rest of the world.
OCAVER is a non-profit organization that closely cooperates with ARVO and the Chinese Ophthalmological Society.
OCAVER was established in USA in 2006; so far more than 300 Chinese vision and eye researchers have enrolled as members of OCAVER. These members include eye and vision researchers from all over the world.
